Alert: Victim Raises Concerns Over Unfulfilled Box Transactions, Calls for Police Intervention CLICK HERE TO JOIN OUR WHATS APP GROUP
A victim of a financial transaction has come forward to warn the public about a young lady advertising box services on Facebook.
The victim, who initiated a box with the young lady earlier in the year, shares a disheartening tale of unmet expectations.
Their box was supposed to conclude in early December, but as the month draws to a close, they claim to have yet to receive their rightful payment.
Exasperated by the lack of communication, the victim alleges that attempts to contact the individual are met with responses from an assistant via WhatsApp, with phone calls consistently rebuffed.

The victim expresses frustration, stating that when arranging meetings, the young lady purposefully avoids confrontation, leaving her assistant to handle aggrieved clients and dispense what the victim describes as false promises and misleading information.
“I am a victim at this point, and I think the police need to start looking into that young lady,” declares the victim, emphasizing their belief that they are not alone in their plight. Despite efforts to remain patient, the victim finds themselves grappling with the reality that, as December nears its end, the promised funds have not materialized.
The victim issues a heartfelt plea for public awareness, urging caution when engaging in financial transactions. They implore individuals to exercise discretion and be wary of entering into agreements with the aforementioned individual, citing their own unfortunate experience.
Expressing a sense of helplessness, the victim contemplates the potential consequences of taking matters into their own hands, stating, “If I go there and rough her up, I am the one going to be in trouble when it’s my own money.”

I know of someone who also get scammed by the same young lady. I told them to seek legal advice. I also want to encourage others who have been scammed by the same young lady to do likewise. They must act fast before the person leave Antigua with people’s hard earn money. Never throw a box with unknown persons.
Now I know that everyone can have issues with whatever financial services you utilise, but as crappy as they are, banks are regulated and don’t often walk away with your money
True
Box, what Box? No sympathy from here whatsoever. In the Name of all that’s good can someone explain why this antiquated money merry-go-round still exists. Yes, it was useful in bygone days for historical reasons as we all know—–but today in the year of Our Lord 2024? What is the attraction that still draws people to the Box? I can only imagine it’s the feel and look of the bunch of purplish stuff when they draw their hand. Your money is never safe and it isn’t working for you, it’s just going round and round in never ending circles doing nothing except tempting the Box holder to disappear with all that cash. It keeps happening and will continue to happen until victims wake up and realize there is something called a bank where a least your money is safe and might earn you a little interest. A few years ago a lady boxholder flew off with all the takings to another island, then recently the takings disappeared from a safe in the boxholder’s house, now this. When will they ever learn as the song goes? The answer is blowing in the wind. Or even worse, gone with the wind.
Throwing Box is a traditional way to save money throughout the entire Caribbean. However it is something you do at your own RISK. That is why it’s usually done with family members, people in the organization you work with or closest Friends, neighbors etc..
Now people are going into box with friends of friends etc … please remember that Box has no legal standing and their is little the police can do. It is literally your word against the person word .. it is a implied/ verbal agreement .. we need to go to the bank and learn independent savings or investments.. a box should be a way to start savings but should not be what you depend on to live for decades .. some people been in box for decades .. let’s do better
I grew up with my mother holding box hand , so when I saw this on Facebook I told myself it’s only a matter of time before someone get scam ! A world to the wise , be careful who you throw box with, make sure you truly know the person 💯
Sorry for the victims!
The best and safest way to start to save your money is to deposit it in a bank, in the case of Antigua and Barbuda. The bank is a safe deposit unlike family or close friends who even at their most careful are liable to lose it through accidental loss or theft. If a bank goes bust for any reason your money is safeguarded by banking regulations so you will get your money back, not quite so with a box holder. Do you get interest on your money in a Box? Tell me. I agree the Box was useful in the past for centuries for historical reasons, but today? Give me a break and an aspirin.
Why me feel like I know where she talk
