Vaccination Schedule for Educators and Support Staff
The Ministry of Education, Science and Creative Industrie s (MoESCI) in collaboration with the Ministry of Health (MOH) has scheduled vaccinations for all educators (Ministry of Education Technical Officers, Principals, Teachers, School Attendance Officers, Parent Coordinators, Secretarial, Ancillary, Farm Attendant and all other individuals who interact with students) for the Covid-19 Oxford , AstraZeneca Vaccine. The vaccine jabs will be given at the Antigua Girls High School (AGHS) from Monday 8th March to Friday 12 h March, 2021 from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm.
Please see attached the schedule (day and time) for the distribution of the vaccine. Parking has been reserved at the Lion’s Den to alleviate congestion for persons accessing the AGHS venue.
Bearing in mind that the education fraternity has over 3000 persons to be vaccinated, the AUA has volunteered to vaccinate approximately 500 individuals on Saturday 13″ March and Sunday 14″ March, 2021 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm as per the attached schedule.
AUA will cater specifically to Ministry of Education Technical Officers, Principals, Deputy Principals, Heads of Departments, Level Heads, Master Teachers, Senior Teachers and A&BUT Executive Officers. Any individual for religious or other significant reason who is unable to attend the Saturday session may do a walk-in on Sunday, or follow their school’s schedule at the AGHS venue.
