Sporting fans around the world are ecstatic about the birth of ‘Baby Bolt’ as Olympic gold medallist Usain Bolt and girlfriend, Kasi Bennett welcomed their baby girl on May 17th.
Since January 2020, the vibrant couple has been very public about their journey to becoming parents and the pregnancy via social media. That followed with them hosting an elaborate gender reveal event in Jamaica, where it was revealed that the Jamaican sprinter would become a “#GirlDad”.
Congratulations for the couple has been coming from various well-wishers, even Jamaica’s Prime Minister the Honourable, Andrew Holness shared their praise on social media. Including Bolt’s forming running mate, Asafa Powell, who joked that Usain’s first child was long overdue.
