An Antiguan entrepreneur who operates in the USA has expressed an interest in pursuing medical Cannabis when made legal in Antigua and Barbuda.

He was accompanied by five experts including a lawyer, a marketing specialist, two Information Technology Specialists, and the owner of a Laboratory who tests medical cannabis pharmaceuticals for a variety of substances.

The operator of the laboratory promised that the lab could also be used to test all kinds of substances and would not be limited to testing for cannabis strengths and quality.

“The Cabinet indicated to the visiting group that others have come forward to propose the acceptance of their firms; the Cabinet enquired of collaboration and was told that this group would be willing to collaborate.”
