  1. All Saints Road is by far the worst road in Antigua, so why not All Saints road first. You might try and respond by saying that is public works responsibility. It is government responsibility. You are diverting millions to national houses and into Senator Turners Hands. That what this scheme is about. This guy was a simple school teacher struggling- now multimillionaire. Walked onto the carnival stage took the mike and said in addition to the prize money to the queen. He is donating an acre of land. One acre of land is 45,460 square feet. That is over 1/2 million dollars. Since the Queen he sponsored won. His aggregate and contribution business.
Back to the road construction. Public works is full of road construction engineers. So why not task them with all road construction. They cannot do worst than CO Williams has done on factory road. Public works is the Ministry responsible for all Antigua roads, not Turna’s national housing.
Question: Where is the money coming from to build these roads under national housing.
There will be no spin of to other equipment owners , since Turna already opened a quarry of his own by Bethesda tamarind tree on government lands. Turna is now importing sand and selling to national housing. Turna is now the owner of heavy duty equipment- excavators, trucks , backhoe all employed by natural housing.
See how badly we really need an alternative to replace this corruption. At this most opportune time and the momentum swing – UPP imploded.
    Poor Antigua!!!!!!!!

  2. The same person will be supplying, trucks , equipment, aggregates. Conflict of interest, corruption and Greed.
    Another scheme to feather nests!

  3. “Well said. All Saints Road is undeniably one of the worst roads in Antigua and Barbuda, and the situation is even worse for those of us living nearby at Buckley Line. For the past seven years, we have been suffering with a road that is worse than a swamp. Every day, we are forced to drive through deep water and thick mud, both at the entrance and exit of the road. It has become nearly impossible to use this road without causing damage to our vehicles.

We have been pleading for help, simply asking for some stones to be put down to improve the road’s condition so we can drive safely. Yet, despite our many requests, we have received no response from our Representative, Public Works, or the government. I’ve personally sent videos and pictures to many of them, hoping to show the severity of the problem, but to this day, no one has responded. We are frustrated and desperate for action to be taken.”

  5. Totally agree with many of the comments about All Saints Road, but as we all know that part of the area is a no-vote-zone for the ABLP, and this particular road will be placed on the back burner. Fact!

Last year I burst one of my tyres/tires on this bumpy and uneven road (and you wan’ see the dogs dem chase my vehicle when dem hear di bang 😁); and I was hoping that Anthony Smith would have given All Saints Road repairs his priority before his desertion.
