The UPP’s 12th Convention Week commenced with a thanksgiving service at Paynters’ Christian Assembly Ministries.
This convention, the first since 2019, featured Jamal Pringle, the UPP Leader, addressing attendees.
He stressed the need for divine intervention, stating that the party, and thus the nation, relies on God in all aspects.
Pringle noted the critical timing of the ceremony amidst political, economic, and social challenges.
Jamal Pringle, the UPP’s Leader, emphasized the party’s commitment to putting people first and acknowledged the importance of God’s guidance in their endeavors. The convention, themed “Together in Unity: Forward to Victory,” includes various activities from April 14 to April 24.
Media Day on April 15 featured Party representatives discussing the UPP’s achievements and national issues.
April 16 saw constituency branches gathering for entertainment, while April 18 focused on youth empowerment.
The convention will officially open on April 20 with guest speakers and entertainment. The business session on April 21 will elect a new Central Executive Committee, adding anticipation to the leadership showdown between Jamal Pringle and Richard Lewis.

The man cow singing lustily as she is the head & tail of the UPP. Her haughtiness and bad mindedness is what has brought UPP to the end of its party life.
A win for either Pringle or Richard won’t change the downward spiral the party is on.
D Giselle, is not a person who endears others to her, she discards people like she does scrap paper, once she has extracted their usefulness.
