The United Progressive Party (UPP) is encouraging its supporters to verify their voter registration status and take advantage of extended registration hours, as political activity intensifies ahead of an anticipated general election.
In a notice circulated to supporters, the party said registration units are now operating with expanded access, including early morning to evening hours on weekdays and additional availability on weekends.
The message calls on supporters to ensure they are “registered and ready to vote,” warning against delays and stressing the importance of participation.
“This election is critical,” the notice states, adding that “every vote will matter” and that supporters in every constituency should ensure they are properly registered.
The party also urged individuals to encourage family members and others in their communities to complete the registration process, describing the effort as essential to securing electoral participation.
The announcement comes amid heightened political mobilisation across parties, with voter readiness expected to play a key role in the outcome of the upcoming polls.

UPP is urging persons to get their voters cards ready. They do that every election cycle. But do you know what they do not do? THEY DO NOT POLICE THE REGISTRATION AND THE ELECTION DAY PROCESS.
Every time there are reports of cheating and wrongdoing on the part of the ruling party and the electoral process.
EVERYTIME
They do not put people to shadow the ALP and look for all the abnormalities and the cheating.
People including the wrongdoers complain about seeing persons in their neighborhoods who never lived there before. They complain about people coming into the country to vote. They complain about people getting cards who are not registered. They complain about the UPP scrutineers who are not really doing their work and are being led along and befriended by the ALP scrutineers who are smarter than them.
And still the UPP just sit back and hope that things will be OK. Even after 3 cut ass.
The worst was this one.
The ALP leader boasted openly about transferring voters into Lovell’s constituency.
The UPP did not even make any attempt to hold the ALP to account. It is alleged the chair said the party came close and the next time UPP will win. It appears she was already envisaging a Isaac-Pringle dynasty.
Lovell came off the loser. The experienced politician just slinked away to lick his wounds and surrendered matters to the women’s forum.
