The United Progressive Party has launched its 2023 Manifesto under the theme “Seven Pillars for Relief, Recovery and Shared Prosperity.” The 60-page policy document was released at the June 8 Mock Pond, All Saints rally.
The UPP Manifesto reflects the CHANGE that the people want – and need – to see and was pulled together based on consultations with the people, over the past two years.
The ABLP does not want change because the system works for them. This manifesto demonstrates that UPP is on your side and we are determined to bring “Relief, Recovery and Shared Prosperity” to all citizens and residents of Antigua and Barbuda.
UPP Political Leader, Harold Lovell says, “I know that some people and parties believe manifestos have little value. However the UPP takes its manifesto very seriously because we are asking the people for the mandate to govern. This is serious business. Our manifesto provides the the road map to meaningful change, which will deliver relief, recovery and shared prosperity to the people of Antigua and Barbuda.”

I just read the UPP manisfesto and I realised it all just a pipe dream. It is impossible for them to execute anything in that manisfesto.
In the very last polling done by ABLP a few months ago they were winning 13 seats. This is inside information. They did not release that information. Right now I ever it is even closer and note elections are won by the ballots , elections can also be won by good ground games on Election Day. Many candidates can will loose by close margins and would be saying if.
The All Saints East Constituency will be a good one to look at. The last time out Single Pringle win my Single digits. This time someone is going to do the same. Collin James can win but it will all depend on how strong he comes out of All Saints. For him to win he must increase his margin in All Saints. Pringle recognized that and throughout his representatives years set up his main branch office at McPond All Saints.
