A stabbing incident in Liberta Monday morning left a 40-year-old man dead. Kelvin Mathew of Liberta was pronounced dead on the spot by a medical doctor following the stabbing incident on the Liberta Basketball Court around 9:40 am.
It is alleged that Mathew was involved in an altercation with a fellow Liberta villager, who allegedly armed himself with a sharp object, which was used to stab him in his chest.
A 27-year-old man, Odel Roberts, was taken into custody shortly following the incident.
Investigations are ongoing into the matter.
