United Progressive Party mourns the passing of former Senator Atkinson Beazer
The United Progressive Party acknowledges, with great sadness, the passing of former Barbuda Senator Atkinson Beazer today, April 26.
We grieve this loss with his immediate and extended family; colleagues in the Barbuda People’s Movement; and all Barbudans and Antiguans who knew and loved “Atty.”
We remember him as a patriot, a good friend, a mild-mannered man but a fierce advocate for and defender of his beloved Barbuda, and an articulate debater in the Upper House of Parliament.
Our twin islands have suffered a significant loss with the sudden death of this good human being, but we give thanks for the time that God shared him with us.
Sleep in peace, Atty, and may your loved ones be comforted by their memories and your legacy.
