@Melchesidec…I don’t know, what the ‘law…’ in A, B & REDONDA says; however, in most States where I’ve resided, two(2) things apply when it comes to minors health (physical, mental, emotional; I said two, but it could also be #won 🧐.

A…HIPAA in America covers what you speak of, yes; however when it comes to minors, the medical practioner MUST report, and signs, of possible or alleged or actual abuse to the authorities. Protocol would usually dictate, hierarchy, of the establishment.

B…it even extends, beyond medical professionals! School bus drivers annd other transportation companies that transport school children are trained, to observe any changes in or unusual behavior of a child/children.

C…other family members, friends, neighbors have the right, to report abuse or abusive situations. CPS – Child Protective Services are obliged to, investigate and corroborate all reports. Then act accordingly to their findings.

I stand corrected; again, I’m not familiar with Antigua, Barbuda & REDONDA laws which governs HIPAA and CPS – Child Protective Services.
