U.K Royals will have a busy schedule when they arrive in Antigua this morning

All is in place for Monday’s visit to Antigua and Barbuda by Prince Edward, the Earl of Wessex and his wife, Sophie, the Countess of Wessex.

 

After arriving at VC Bird International Airport, the royals will be treated to an event at Government House called ‘showcasing our nation, saluting our people’ hosted by Their Excellencies Governor General Sir Rodney Williams and Lady Williams at 10:30am.

 

They will then move onto the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium for ‘inspiration at the crease’ at 2pm.

 

The royals will then be in English Harbour at 3PM for ‘from the helm, saluting the triumphant’ with the National Sailing Academy.

 

The trip will then end with a visit to the historical Clarence House with ‘memories, memoirs and meaning’.

 

Prince Edward is the youngest of Queen Elizabeth’s children.

 

The royals are on a Caribbean tour to mark the Queen’s platinum jubilee.

  2. What the hell is wrong with our current government allowing this HIGHLY controversial royal tour of Antigua 🇦🇬 to even take place?

    Quite a few years ago I was given an opportunity to meet these 2 UK 🇬🇧 SPONGERS due to my place of employment; but as an ardent anti-royalist I informed my boss at the time that I didn’t want to attend on principal.

    MY BOSS WAS NOT HAPPY – BUT I STUCK TO MY GUNS … AND LUCKILY STILL KEPT MY JOB!

    I have always believed in hard work through your own endeavours, above anyone who receives entitlement through royal BIRTH.

    Many Caribbean countries are now waking up to the wealth that the UK monarchy accumulated on the back of slavery – why is Antigua still bowing and scraping to them?

    You only have to go back to queen Elizabeth’s I reign and the evil cooperation with her cohort, Sir John Hawkins (1532-1595).

    These two played a pivotal role in the history of England and the emergence of the global slave trade.

    Sir John Hawkins voyages were so lucrative, that Queen Elizabeth herself sponsored subsequent missions.

    How is it, that Gaston Browne and the ABLP government STILL entertaining the descendents of this slave trading family?

      • NOT ONE CENT of Antgua/Barbuda money. should pay for these freeloaders. The Queen of ENGLAND has billions. They should pay for everything from their own deep pockets and leave a contribution of millions behind for the for the Antigua/Barbuda treasury. Like all other tourists they have to pay their own way.

  3. Let them see the wild cassie trees around the island, that were planted to hinder the escape of our ancestors. Maybe let them bare their feet and experience a ‘ juk’.
