Browne says Antigua will soon have enough vaccines to reach herd immunity.

He says this will include 12k doses from the UK as well as vaccines from the United States.

  1. Mr. Browne is speaking as if all vaccines are equal, and that people should take any vaccine available. I don’t accept that. First of all, some have more safety risks than others. And second, they are not equally effective. The Chinese vaccine, for example, is not very effective and offers little protection.

But if we do get some Pfizer next month, we will no longer have a good reason to not get vaccinated.

We also need to step up educational efforts because it seems like pseudoscience and conspiratorial thinking have gotten hold of our people.

    • @ DM we no longer have a good reason not to get vaccinated ?
Please speak for yourself . What you inject in your body I have no say and vice versa shuups .

  2. Why are we, the 3rd world countries are always been used as a dumping ground for the 1st world countries….? It confuses me! What is not good for them should not be good for us. Ofcourse, I can understand why we are accepting their rejects… Our economic status / treasuries just cannot afford otherwise. However, dont these leaders of the 1st world countries consider the negative impact it may have us? I am now beginning to wonder if this a contributing factor why cancer & other diseases are so prevalent in the Caribbean…..

  3. One of the duncest statement ever made” The best vaccine is the one that is available”

It is life saving to pay the pensioners, liat workers and any body who is owed money should be paid also not just supply vaccines .

  4. Since when he don’t want to call name and that is what he does best. Simply say you share the vaccine with your good friend from Dominica

  5. We not hearing anything about the Cuban vaccines. Cuba is jus next door abd its 94% effective. Its also the same make up as vaccines we got as kids. Talk to us when the Cuban plane land.

  6. Why can’t we get the Cuban vaccine? We need to support our own Caribbean people product. I am debating if I should fly to Cuba 🇨🇺 to be vaccinated.
