Two weeks of no new cases of COVID-19 in Antigua and Barbuda

(Dashboard Update for June 19, 2021)

 

The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment has not received any new reports from the Sir Lester Bird Mount St. John Medical Centre as of Thursday 17th June 2021 at 6pm.

 

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda remains one thousand two hundred and sixty-three (1263);.

 

There are no active cases.

 

Meanwhile, thirty five thousand seven hundred and twenty-four (35,724) first doses of the Covid-19 vaccines have been administered while twenty six thousand nine hundred and forty-nine (26,949) second doses were administered.

 

The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.

  1. So only allow fully vaccinated people into the country now or our cases will go back up!

    • The vaccine is not a cure, it is a protection against getting seriously I’ll if you get the virus. People still get the virus after they are vaccinated.
