Two Vincy’s charged in connection to $1.8 million Drug Seizure

As the Office of National Drug and Money Laundering Control Policy (ONDCP) continues investigation into the recent seizure of approximately One Million Eight Hundred and Seventy-Six Thousand EC Dollars (ECD $1, 876,000.00) worth of Compressed Cannabis, another Vincentian national has been apprehended and charged. Two Vincentian males have now been charged.

Godfrey King, resident of Green Hill – Liberta, and Sydney Norville, resident of Marble Hill, appeared before Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel on Monday 28th January, 2019 to answer to the charges of Possession of Cannabis, Possession with Intent to Transfer, Being Concerned in the Supply of Cannabis and Drug Trafficking.

Both men were denied bail due to being a flight risk and have been remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison until May 8th 2019 for committal proceedings. Investigations are ongoing.
