Two new cases of COVID-19 in Antigua and Barbuda


(Dashboard Update for June 2, 2021)


The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Sir Lester Bird Mount St. John Medical Centre revealed two (2) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Monday 31st May 2021 at 6pm.

Sixty-two (62) samples were processed at Sir Lester Bird MSJMC.


Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is one thousand two hundred and sixty-two (1262); which is inclusive of seven (7) active cases.


There is one hospitalized case where the symptoms are considered to be mild.


Meanwhile, thirty three thousand four hundred and sixty-three (33,463) first doses of the Covid-19 vaccines have been administered while sixteen thousand eight hundred and sixty-six (16,866) second doses were administered.



The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.
