Two new cases of COVID-19

(Dashboard Update for May 11, 2021)

 

The most recent reports received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Mount St. Johns Medical Centre (MSJMC) and the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) have revealed two (2) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Monday 10th May 2021 at 6pm.

 

These new cases were out of thirty-four (34) samples processed by MSJMC and four (4) processed by CARPHA.

 

One (1) recovered case was recorded increasing the total to one thousand one hundred and seventy-nine (1179).

 

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is one thousand two hundred and thirty-nine (1239); which is inclusive of twenty-nine (29) active cases. Of these active cases four (4) are hospitalized with all being considered mild.

 

Meanwhile, the total number of persons vaccinated as of May 10th 2021 is thirty one thousand two hundred and sixty-two (31,262).

 

These dashboard have been updated to reflect the changes.

  1. These low numbers are good… Let’s not get carried away too quickly and stay patient.

    Unlike the Tourism Authority who have released a video playlist with the following text, which is published in many travel media outlets:
