  1. This is just so sad! Condolences to the families who lost their loved ones in such a tragic way. πŸ˜žπŸ™

  2. Deepest sympathies to the loved ones of the deceased. It’s especially sad bcos these two young men chose to work their honest bread and lost their lives while doing so.
Yet we have these waste of space nuisances enjoying life at our expense. Smh
    Sleep in peace young men

  3. My condolences to all the families.
People of Antigua and Barbuda, it is time for us to pray and seek God’s face. All the doors that were opened to allow evil to enter must be closed in Jesus name. Even the door of accepting BG money.
Lord, deliver us out of the hand of Nebuchadnezzar, the oppressor. Break him in pieces Lord according to Psalm 72:4.
Somebody needs to be thrown overboard so that the “waters” can subside. We need this nation to be the gem of the Caribbean again. Help us Lord.

  4. This is do sad. They are so young. I pray for their families. I can’t imagine the shock.

I also wonder why the roof collapsed? Not enough steel? Bad concrete? Some contractors take risky short cuts as a way to Rob homeowners

  5. This was not β€œfreak accident” this was unsafe conditions on a construction site.
Condolences will not prevent such incidents in the future.
At the same time when the elites in their blackout windows and the attorneys making more money from crime, the islands become more industrialized requiring new regulations.
Where are the construction safety standards? Rather than the condolences to the unknown whose relatives will never see them; how about campaigning to prevent such tragedies in the future?
Look at the debate about an independent inquiry into the scam Caribbean Air. An inquiry should have been profotma.

  6. What about The issue of safety?
    Who should be held accountable?
I am suggesting that the relevant β€œGovernment” authorities should be held accountable.
Such as the ones responsible for:
    1. The Granting of licenses to contractors!
    2. Ensuring that contractors have the required and relevant insurance to operate.
    3. The carrying out of regular site visits, to ensure adherence to safety measures.
    4. Ensuring the approval of building systems in Antigua & Barbuda suitable to withstand earthquakes and Hurricanes of reasonable magnitudes, that may cause destruction to building structures.

If we cannot identify any government Ministry responsible for any of the aforementioned, then the government has to take the responsibility for this unfortunate situation.
My condolences go out to all family members of the deceased.
