Two Hispanic nationals are being treated at the Mount St Johns Medical Centre (MSJMC) after they stabbed each other during a domestic dispute Sunday evening.

The incident occurred at St Georges street in the Pointe community.

The police have not told the media what started the altercation but Police Public Relations Officer Inspector Frankie Thomas says they will be continuing the investigation.

“From all indications, the wounds are non-life-threatening,” said Inspector Thomas after confirming with the medical team attending to the couple.

Despite their non-threatening conditions, however, the Police PRO said that the, “Female companion received a laceration to one of her fingers, while the male had a wound to his head.”

Inspector Thomas revealed that a knife was used to inflict the wounds.

The police did not give the names of the parties involved as the investigation is still on-going.
