Tropical Storm Philippe Holds Steady as Two Other Systems Develop

NHC – Tropical Storm Philippe continues to maintain a steady course over the central tropical Atlantic, with the latest advisory from the National Hurricane Center placing it at 17.4°N and 43.9°W.  

Philippe boasts sustained winds of 50 mph and is moving west-northwest at a speed of 10 mph. 

There are currently no coastal watches or warnings in effect, and Philippe is not posing immediate hazards to land. 

Meanwhile, two other systems are active in the Atlantic.One, located in the southeastern Gulf of Mexico, exhibits disorganized showers and thunderstorms. 

The other, identified as AL91, has a high likelihood of developing into a tropical depression over the central tropical Atlantic in the coming days. 

The National Hurricane Center will continue to monitor these systems closely, providing updates as they evolve.
