Trinidad and Tobago will reopen its borders on July but non-nationals who are not vaccinated will not be able to enter, Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley has announced.
Vaccinated citizens must have had their second dose of a COVID-19 vaccines two weeks prior to entering with a negative PCR test 72 hours old. Those persons will be able to go directly home.
Unvaccinated citizens will be required to go to a state-operated quarantine centre for 14 days. They will require a negative PCR test 72 hours prior to entering the country.
Children who are not vaccinated and arriving with vaccinated parents will be allowed to go home with guidelines.
A digitalized system will be implemented for vaccination data to be used with airlines.
