Trinidad and Tobago logs 328 cases of COVID-19 in 24 hours

Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley this afternoon called an urgent press conference and disclosed that the country had recorded an unprecedented number of Covid-positive cases over the last 24 hours – 328.

As a result of this new measures have been put in place. These measures are as follows.

LATEST COVID REGULATIONS:

 

– As of midnight tonight, all restaurants and bars will be closed

 

– All malls will be closed

 

– All places of worship will be closed

 

– All gyms and fitness centres will be closed

 

– All spas and beauty dispensing areas closed

– Casinos, cinemas, theatres, clubs closed

 

– Public Service will operate on essential service only

 

– Tobago would be isolated by limited by 3 flights per day and seabridge 25%

 

– All tours to various areas of recreation will end.
