TRINIDAD: $1.6 million in goods stolen from warehouse

Police in Arima, Trinidad, are investigating a report in which over $1.6 million in goods were stolen from a warehouse.

The stolen items reportedly included $1,073,260.00 worth of cheese and $695,742.00 worth of corned beef.

The theft was discovered yesterday during an inventory check conducted by a purchasing supervisor at ADM Distributors.

The police also interviewed several employees who worked at the warehouse.

PC Jones, from the Arima CID, is currently handling the case.
