No money nor material offer would have been sufficient to make Brother B associate himself with the very ones you, Anthony Smith, described as devils.
Brother B would have never betrayed the trust of his constituents and jumped in bed with the enemy.

Whatever qualities you have witnessed in Brother B’s daughter were instilled by him.
He gave her the fighting spirit.
He instilled in her to fight for justice and not to compromise and join the opressers to opress her peers.
Finally, “his dedication to the well being of Antigua is undeniable.”
Dedication to an effort is from the heart.
It is not for reward.
When pay or reward is involved is is a duty.
I am surprised that you realise that he was dedicated to the well being of Antigua and not to his enrichment.
Can you say that you are dedicated to the well being of Antigua and Barbuda?

Dedication to a cause is to fight through hardship and pain, poverty and fortune, good times and bad times.

Hon. Smith and many others – known and unknown – are right to get off the sinking corrupted UPP ship and contribute to nation-building in other ways and spaces.
