Our nation has lost an icon. Ricardo Drue was a musician that I greatly admired, not only for his musical talents and vibrant spirit, but also for his creative approach in elevating Antigua and Barbudaβs image on the world stage.
We had many deep conversations about our mutual love for this country and our vision for promoting Antigua and Barbudaβs cultural heritage far and wide.
But the people that we lose donβt really leave us, because they live on in our hearts and minds. May we be inspired by the music, memories and legacy that he created and shared with the world.
I extend my sincerest condolences to his family, friends and fans. May he rest in power.
