The Traffic Light Department within the Ministry of Works will be conducting upgrades to the traffic light circuits at the junction of American and All Saints Roads in the vicinity of the Town House Mega Store.
Due to the upgrades, the traffic lights will be out of commission on Tuesday 28th May 2019 from 9am to 4pm.
Head of the Traffic Light Department Gregson Nathan said the upgrades are necessary as Antigua & Barbuda is moving towards world standards in traffic signals.
According to Nathan, the model to be installed will be energy efficient and equipped with backup power.
The safety of motorists travelling in that vicinity is of utmost importance and the Ministry of Works is advising motorists to proceed carefully along that route.
