Police say advanced toxicology tests are being carried out abroad as efforts continue to establish how Chantel Crump died.
Acting Commissioner Everton Jeffers confirmed that initial post-mortem results were inconclusive and further forensic samples have been sent overseas for analysis.
He urged the public to remain calm and allow investigators to complete their work without pressure.
“We are appealing to the public to be patient. Allow the investigations to run its course,” he said during a press conference on Wednesday.
The police have committed to providing updates as soon as new information becomes available.

So upon the discovery of her remains they claimed that she was strangled to the point her eyes were bulging, yet the autopsy returned with an inconclusive result…. im so lost… what really was it…. the alleged murder confession, what did it entail… patiently awaiting the toxicology report…
The day they found this child body, a sense of urgency should have kicked in right away to find out what was the horrible cause, now its like the authorities are just talking their own time, talking about further tests.
This innocent child was picked up and murdered in hours and with all the science, technology and professional or experts out there, a country struggles to find this impious cause of a child death while asking the public for patience.
If someone was murdered, it is impossible to not know how they were killed, impossible.
The body will always reveal itself, so I don’t know what the heck those pathologist are doing. ” Inconclusive” really?
It’s one of multiple things that can kill someone…are you telling me that the confession has not been tied into your search for answers Mr pathologist?
If the Lady confessed, what did she confess to? Isn’t that the path you should take when doing your autopsy?
This place and how it’s is run is just sickening now, for real.
Nothing can ever get done correctly, nothing. The most incompetent people I’ve ever seen in government and civil service.
So when the young woman confessed didn’t she confess how she did it or you were so much in a hurry to find the body that you rushed out to the location. Then after finding the body interrogation stopped? Did she call for a lawyer? Does she have lawyer ? If so who is her lawyer.
Any good interrogators would have gotten out from the murderer how she did it. They this would have guided the autopsy or post-Mortem.
