Commissioner of Police Atlee Rodney visits Barbuda and see the need for more law men on the sister isle.

Commissioner Rodney is currently on the sister isle meeting with police officers attached to the Barbuda Police Station.

His visit will include engaging those on the ground to have a general feedback on a number of matters, as well as to have an overall assessment of operational and infrastructural needs.

Rodney will also be meeting with members of the Barbuda Council to discuss a number of issues, including proper housing facilities for the police.

The day-long visit is expected to conclude with a tour of the island, engaging residents of Barbuda on other matters of concern.

  2. What is the real population of Barbuda? How many Cops are on the island presently? How do you Rodney going to make a determination. As to how many more Cops are needed on Barbuda? Do have a chart and or idea of the Population growth in the next 5 years,on Barbuda. You cannot pull a number out of the hat and then say you need this many Cops there. That is not how it works,population growth determines that.
