  1. Those school bus drivers go like the world is going to end. Most of them drive like crazy!

  2. Is because of the rain that’s why they have the accident . I will not blame the driver because the road is wet and when the road is wet these things happen.

    • @Marcelle Richards, total nonsense!

Experienced/professional drivers, of whom School Bus drivers are classified as knows the following…

A…when it rains, road surfaces become slicker due to the oil and water on the surface which increases, the danger of hydroplaning.

B…you therefore, adjust/decrease your speed and increase your stopping distance(s).

C…you pay extra attention, heighten awareness of your surroundings, since, the infrastructure(lack of swailing, proper sidewalks and drainage) which allows debris (broken trees, leaves, trash) get swept unto the roads, creating other hazards.

While mechanical failure(s) and medical conditions can come into play, causing issues with controlling the vehicle, rain/water on the road should not be blamed without proper and thorough investigation(s).
Law enforcement (amend the laws) MUST make such things, as breathalyzers(at the scene of the accident and’s, collection of blood and urine samples NO LATER than and hour after the accident, if the EMT cannot do so on scene!
Insurance/Assurance Companies need to lobby for these, since, it’s causing them hundreds of thousands of dollars to settle claims.

Inaction and excuses have the Nation lacking in proper accountability and responsibility.
