Three new cases of COVID-19 in Antigua

The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Mount St. Johns Medical Centre (MSJMC) has revealed three (3) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Monday 12th April 2021 at 6pm.

 

 

These new cases were as a result of one hundred and twenty-one (121) samples processed by MSJMC.

 

 

Nine (9) recovered cases have been recorded bringing the total to nine hundred and forty-seven (947).

 

 

One (1) Covid-19 related death has been recorded bringing the total to thirty-one (31).

 

 

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is one thousand two hundred and one (1201); which is inclusive of two hundred and twenty-three (223) active cases.  Of these active cases, three (3) are hospitalized with one (1) being severe and two (2) mild.

 

 

Meanwhile, the total number of individuals vaccinated remains at twenty seven thousand and thirty-two (27,032).

 

 

The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.
