Thousands of dollars worth of laundry detergent disappears from Sandals Resort

Close to US$20,000 worth of detergent was reportedly stolen from the Sandals Resort.

 

Reports are the theft happened late last year and was recently discovered by the security manager.

 

He reportedly told police he realized 110 gallons of the cleaning product had gone missing when he was updating records.

 

Investigations are ongoing in the matter.

  1. We are in the month of May and the incident happened last year. Why did it take him so long to update records?

    Interesting item to steal. Why not toilet paper?

    • The same thing I was just saying after reading the article. The Inventory Controller and the Security Manager both need to be fired. That should have shown up missing in the stock inventory taking at end of 2018 or even before.

  2. Someone has been selling detergent. Securities manager took a whole year to report the theft. Guess all the detergent done sell. Christmas them steal goods from my and other family members barrels at Deep Water Harbour. Antigua is now a thieving society.
