Cadaphy “Jun Jun” Evanson of Briggins has been charged again with robbery.
This time he is charged for robbing a Dickenson Bay man of his SsangYong Motor Pickup C31936. The owner of the vehicle, who also happens to be a local tour guide, had just taken some visitors from a cruise ship to Deep Bay for a swim.
The accused alkegedly robbed the man at gunpoint of his vehicle and other valuable items belonging to the visitors; while the vistors were some distance away. The vehicle was later recovered by police in the Pot Works Dam Area. The incident occurred in November last year. He is currently on remand, having being charged for two previous robberies.
