Thieves targeted a businesswoman’s establishment on lower High Street, making off with both EC and US currency from the cash register.
The owner of Rum Runners Bar and Restaurant in Hodges Bay reported the incident to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID).
The break-in occurred between 5 p.m. on February 7 and 10 a.m. on February 8.
The intruder gained access through a western push-up window, breaking the glass with a hard object.
Once inside, they took EC$100 and US$200 from a cash register located on the floor in a western office.
Authorities are currently conducting ongoing investigations into the matter.
