Thieves Take Off With Dive Equipments Valued Several Thousand US Dollars


DiveCarib, at the national sailing academy, was burgled on Friday losing  several thousand dollars (US) worth of equipment taken.

The institution is calling on the public to look out for any scuba equipment being sold.

They are also offering $1000US reward for any information leading to retrieval of the equipment.

Equipment stolen:
Scuba cylinders (Catalina/Luxfer)
Sherwood Avid BCD’s (size on shoulder with marker pen)
Sherwood Brut Regulators
Mares dive computers (various colours)
Sherwood black Triton fins
Sherwood black Rona masks
Sherwood black Suri snorkels
Red Titanium dive knife
Long black dive knife
Mares/Akona black dive booties
Akona Black long wetsuits
Wrist compasses
