There will be a ROAD CLOSURE at the North Sound Roundabout on Wednesday

There will be a ROAD CLOSURE at the North Sound Roundabout on Wednesday, September 1st, 2021 from 7am-6pm.

Those travelling from SSWH going West will divert through the stadium towards North Sound Roundabout and follow the diversion signs.

Those travelling East approaching the North Sound Roundabout will follow the diversion signs at the stadium to get back on to the SSWH.  (Please note the attached diversion MAP)

The Attention of the General Public is drawn to the fact that Traffic on the Sir Sydney Walling Highway will be affected at NIGHT during Curfew Hours which are 8pm-5am.

On Tuesday, August 31st, 2021 and Wednesday, September 1st, 2021 between 8pm and 5am, single lane traffic will be in effect in Pares village for all vehicular traffic with the exception of HEAVY DUTY TRUCKS.

 

GENERAL WORKS

The Contractor CO Williams will continue with road works along SSWH and single lane traffic will be in effect with flag persons providing guidance to road users.

Certain sections will remain under mobile traffic light control and road users are asked to comply with traffic management measures.
