The Antigua and Barbuda High Commission, UK warmly shares with you information regarding the opening for entries for ‘The Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition’ organised by the Royal Commonwealth Society.
The Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition is the world’s oldest international writing competition for schools and serves as an early engagement point for young individuals to learn more about the work and wider impact of the Commonwealth.
Schools and young people across Antigua and Barbuda are invited to participate in this unique and highly-regarded programme.
Through the theme ‘Community in the Commonwealth’, young Commonwealth writers can creatively share their ideas on how the Commonwealth can address current global challenges and create a better future for all its citizens.
One winner and runner-up will be chosen from each category. Winners and runners-up will travel to London for a week of educational and cultural events, culminating in a special Awards Ceremony. Other prizes will be awarded.
