  1. Obviously his family doesn’t want him. Let the government keep him. He is a burden to the family.

  2. Bilbo your sentiments might be correct….. However, a life is precious. His present state does not mean that he should be ignored by his family…. He might be a burden on them now but do you if they were not a burden on him before now? The family has a responsibility….. To ignore him should be considered as a criminal act. They should be charged …The same goes those families who have relatives who were released from the prison & mental asylum and choose to ignore them…. Remember none of us know what our future holds… Today you are up…… Tomorrow you can be down & need help from yr family

    • Life is precious indeed! Too precious to be wasted. People should be allowed freedom of association even with respect to their own family. If someone does not want to be affiliated or have contact with a certain person they should be allowed to do so. I do not agree that family has to take care of convicts, crazies and all sorts of degenerates. Let the government or whom ever else want to be associated with them do so.

Whatever tomorrow may brings if I become a burden I will let my family decide if they want to help me or not. I know the answer to that as I grew up very poor and had few friends. Things change when I became more resourceful so that even strangers say hi.

  3. Just so that you are all aware, the family reached out to the police and he is safely back with them after he received medical attention at the hospital. I think sometimes we can be a little bit more sensitive to other people’s situations and not become too quick to judge. Especially when you don’t have all the facts. Let’s help each other without pulling down each other.
