He is David Frederick Smith aka Charlie who is originally from St. Kitts. He was apprehended in the Buckley’s Development Area in St. Kitts after arriving illegally on the island early Tuesday.

Smith has been resident in Antigua for more than three years and came to prominence when he was recorded in March after stealing a woman’s handbag then jumping into the St. John’s Harbour before being captured by Coast Guard officials.

  1. Have the St. Kitts government pay for the boat and while there pay for the woman’s handbag. Also, the St. Kitts government should be responsible for all the expenses there citizen has incurred while in Antigua. Also the St. Kitts government should pay for his return to Antigua to face charges and then the cost of deportation.

Furthermore, let St. Kitts government know that we don’t want there citizens committing crimes in Antigua so we should send a strong message. St. Kitts is getting out of hand.

  2. Inna dem libba. Observer deliberately played an insert of some SKN official talking about oh he is believed to be from Antigua and they are so concerned about his covid status because they know of “community spread” in anu. Now look at that. A dem own neargah.

Observer too lub cry down country

    • Good observation; even before the original article they knew he was Kittian. Even this same paper printed the St.Kitts Observer as article.

  3. At least they weren’t scared to mention his name. Unlike here where no one wants to mention the executioners’ name of Nigel Christian.
