The Little Creek Bridge is now open to Motorists.
The bridge, which was closed in January of this year was severely damaged by erosion after heavy rainfalls.
Minister of Works the Hon. Lennox Weston said this is the first bridge constructed in Antigua based on the new requirements for building sustainable bridges in this era of global warming and climate change.
Minister Weston thanks the people of the South for their patience during the time of construction.
The building of the Southern Corridor highway will start in the first quarter of 2022 as C.O. Williams completes the Eastern corridor which is close to completion.
By the end of 2022 most of the major highways will be rebuilt from scratch giving us a brand-new system of high-quality international

The news item said that the bridge is complete… Isn’t that the case? You can drive over the bridge, can’t you? The bridge IS complete. The story never said that the roadway is finished. That’s another aspect of the work that is being worked on. Stop attempting to sell quarter-truths!

They need to go repair some dips/ holes on airport road before they get worse or all that work and money spent will be a waste
