St. Johns, Antigua, May 31st, 2023 – Award-winning soca artiste, Ricardo Drue, is signifying taking his artistry to the next level by branding from the well-known iD Nation brand to the newer, edgier brand name Drue World Order (D.W.O.).

The globally recognized ‘Tornado’ singer’s new brand encompasses his new band, which also goes by the same name, and all his fans and supporters.

Drue, who wrote and performed the #1 streamed soca song for 2021 ‘Toxic Love’ has decided to rebrand from iD Nation to D.W.O. in keeping with the growth in his music which now reflects a more raw and edgy sound.

The artiste remarked that “this rebrand is meaningful to me because the team and I have grown so much over the past three years. We’ve been really focused on ‘stamping’ Antigua and Barbuda’s name on the international map.” Ricardo has toured globally, to far reaching destinations such as Paris, moving crowds as large as 20,000 thousand people.

The pandemic was challenging, but Ricardo and the D.W.O. made an effort to keep Antiguan & Barbudan music alive despite the absence of carnival celebrations throughout the region. As pandemic restrictions were lifted, and the public once again began to enjoy in person events, the former soca monarch was able to tour and bring his new sound of sweet soca to audiences all over the world.

The D.W.O. intends to have a larger-than-life presence and heavily invest in the Antiguan and Barbudan carnival season this year with new releases, staple events such as Druesday and Blueve and the highly anticipated event of the season Face Off.
