CABINET NOTES:

The Cabinet has taken note of the number of accidents on recently-re-surfaced smooth roads to include Friars Hill Road and Sir George Walter Highway.

The Cabinet wishes to remind drivers that accidents cause death, and serious injury, and the destruction of property.

Driving above the speed limit is an offence.

The Cabinet joins with the MSJMC/SLBMC hospital to make a plea to the public to provide blood to the recent victims of car accidents (and to the blood bank, especially O- and A-).

  1. Driving tests needs toughening up nowadays, too many unnecessary accidents and deaths. Speeding and overtaking 3-4 vehicles in one manoeuvre is CRAZY – TIME FOR CHANGE NOW.

  2. the Traffice Deparment of the RPFAB tired warn them every single morning on radio and TV! some people just love the thrill of speeding.

Old people say “who nah hear will feel”

  3. government needs to start giving the police and traffic court staff a large percentage of any revenues raised from issuing and collecting on tickets. we will see traffic laws being enforced and obeyed in no time

  4. I think that these insurance companies should start rewarding drivers who have been driving for more than twenty years without being involved in or causing any accidents.
