Ten receive national awards; St Luce knighted

Ten men and women were honored for their contributions to nation building with national awards at the 2017 Independence Ceremonial Parade this morning.

Taking place at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, the ten received their awards from the Governor General.

The highest award conferred was a knighthood to Sir John St Luce, a former Antigua Labour Party MP for St John’s City East serving from 1976 to 2004. He was also minister of Finance for many years.

7. Ms. Dulcie Wynter-King
