What about All Saints. Black Hadeed started to repair the police station just before election, then it suddenly stopped. There was a court room that served the district – which was a great location. Heard the stupidity of the government is going to remove the court when repaired.
Then the clinic was closed due to lack of maintenance, leaking roofs etc. There is no strategic plans for the maintenance of government buildings or I should say assets. Equipment etc.
I am calling on Honorable Jamal Pringle and Anthony Smith- stand up and do something about this . First start with written letters and ask the people of All Saints and the surrounding villages that used that clinic to sign a petition to accompany the letter. Then both of you together, accompanied by the constituents ( none partisan) deliver the letter to Hon. Ministers of Health and Public works. Give them thirty days to commence repairs otherwise ask the people of All Saints to accompany you in picketing both ministries.
Guys the people put you there to represent them on important issues like these. Not just to go into parliament or on the radio to grandstand. If you are going to get re-elected or attain governance of this country, you need to get going now.
Smith you suppose to be young and energetic, your holidays are over . Stop saying that we are in opposition and cannot do . Agitate, agitate , agitate !
Good suggestions frankly speaking but I am wondering why this article says upgrades. If no money has come to simply maintain, what upgrades are they talking about?
I also wonder if patients would mind paying $5each time that they seek care. That money could be channeled to provide maintenance
