A 17-year-old boy has been sentenced to one year of probation for engaging in unlawful sexual activity with an underage girl, whom he was in a relationship with.

The girl was 13 years old at the time they started communicating on Instagram and eventually engaged in sexual intercourse.

The girl’s father became aware of their relationship after seeing a hickey on her neck and confronted her, leading her to confess.

Despite the father’s efforts to end the relationship, they continued to meet until the girl’s mother discovered their messages on her father’s phone and reported it to the police.

The boy has admitted to the crime and was sentenced by Justice Ann-Marie Smith.

Violation of his probation terms could result in a six-month imprisonment.

  1. Y’all should’ve given her probation time aswell bcuz it took two to tango💆🏾‍♂️she know what she was doing and she should’ve stopped messaging the young man he is now paying the consequences for what he did and so should she

  2. Our laws appears to be prejudice. Both individuals violated the law. The young lady could not give consent because of her age. The young man on the other hand cannot have sex with a minor even if she gives consent. Yet the end result, the young man was dealt with by the court. Now what is the punishment for the young lady. Didn’t she violated the laws also??

  3. For an offense to occur there must be a victim and a perpetrator.

The victim is normally protected and or compensated as a result of the offense.

If both were below the age of consent no offense would have occurred.

  4. the daddy probably wanted it first smfh…the laws of this place are so one sided the girl should get charged too 😒

  5. Both parties should be committed these young gyals today just too hot and spicy they are not innnocent as it may seem. The judge need to llok at the situation again she should be made an example come on. Jufge!!!!!

  6. While the boy is technically legally wrong, there are worse offenders out there. Those are two children. A 17 yo is not “sick” for being attracted to someone 4 years his junior. Why would prosecutor pursue this? Happy there is no jail time, but are we going to seriously put him on a “sex offender” registry?

  7. There should be an exception to the kaw if they are less than 4 or 5 years apart. This is just a 4 year age difference. Man has a sex offended charge on his record. He isn’t a sex offender….
