Miguel Bourne sustained serious injures resulting from the crash and has been in a coma ever since.

The car he was driving was extensively damaged after colliding with an SUV on Anchorage Road.

Officials confirmed that Bourne is scheduled to receive treatment in Trinidad & Tobago but could not say how the medical expenses will be covered.

His friends recently started a gofund me page to meet the medical expenses estimated at 35 thousand United States Dollars.

Donors have so far contributed over $2,700 US dollars to the effort.
