  1. Isn’t it about time that the Festival Commission look into purchasing sound equipment for their own purposes.

    • @D Jude…. And if the Festivals Commission decides to purchase their sound and lighting equipment you and your family, their entourage, and their step-family will scream to high heavens that private providers can’t make any money in this Antigua?

  2. @ Wash n Basin my grandmother always say to me if you have nothing constructive to say just whistle. Look at the long term advantages of owning their own equipment. They could even train interested persons on how to properly operate said equipment. Let’s face it the problem they encountered during carnival because of repeated malfunctions by so called operators of private equipment rentals and operations was embarrassing.

They could even train individuals into the operation of said equipment. Let’s face it and be honest. The repeated malfunctioning and break down of the equipment by said local equipment rentals was and embarrassing situation during our carnival celebrations.

  4. Be interesting to know how the contracts were made, was it at rock bottom price that to deliver would require some luck and little room for inevitable glitches.
