LOOP NEWS – A 52-year-old man has succumbed to injuries sustained from a wounding incident which occurred in the Turks and Caicos this morning.
The victim, David Leon McIntosh, died this afternoon while receiving medical care at the Cheshire Hall Medical Center.
A murder investigation has now commenced.
Based on police reports, at around 1:42 am, the Police Control Room was contacted and informed that McIntosh, a resident of Kew Town, Providenciales, had received gunshot wounds.
Officers of the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force along with an ambulance were dispatched to the given location. McIntosh was rushed to the CHMC for treatment.
The RTCIPF extends condolences to the family and friends of McIntosh.
