Marc Antonio Copeland of Liberta is accused of wounding Kobe Stevens with intent to murder and unlawfully wounding Keillia Mentor during an altercation at the Craft Market.

On October 12, the engaged couple and a friend visited the Craft Market. At Copeland’s booth, Mentor recognized him from a prior social media dispute and advised her friend to leave.

Copeland allegedly exited his booth, pushed Mentor, and assaulted her with a cleaver. Stevens intervened but was also attacked. The couple sought help at a nearby bus station and were taken to the hospital.

Stevens, who suffered severe injuries, was discharged yesterday. Mentor sustained a non-life-threatening head laceration and was treated and released from the hospital.
