The cashier who was robbed at OK Supermarket on Saturday said the robber took all the money the business collected in sales that day.
“Maybe $2000 something, I just know somebody buy something and I no take out,” Lixia Cao told state media.
The cashier said was afraid when the man barged in waving a gun around 5:20 pm.
She said she complied with his demands to avoid being shot.
The woman of Chinese descent said she told the robber, “Take money, money, I just give money, go, you no kill me.”
The man was caught on surveillance cameras filling his bag with money from the cash register.
The police are still searching for the arm assailant and ask anyone with information that can assist in their investigations to call the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) at 462-3913 or 462-3914.
