Students to receive CXC results on Friday

The thousands of secondary school students who sat the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) examinations this year will find out their results later this week.

The Ministry of Education here, along with education ministries in other regional territories, will release the much-anticipated grades this Friday.

A source at the ministry confirmed that the education department has already received the grades, adding that it is customary that all Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) territories release the exam results on the same day.

Students in Antigua and Barbuda will have to go to their respective schools to collect the slips with the grades. They may also be able to see how many subjects they pass by accessing the CXC website and using their individually assigned password.

However, some students may not gain access to the site if they have fees, books, and other outstanding issues that have not been settled at their school or the Board of Education.

Students wrote a wide variety of exams in several disciplines, including math, English, theater arts, French, Spanish, industrial arts, computer, business and science subjects.
